Triangle Patch Blanket

cast on 24 stitches

1st row pearl

2 & 3rd row knit

4th row knit 10 slip 1 knit 1 pass slip st over k2tog knit 10

5th row peal

6th row knit 9 slip 1 knit 1 psso k2tog knit 9

7 th row pearl

keep decreasing in this manner until 4 stitches are left

(k2tog) twice

p2tog fasten off.

half triangles can be  made by  casting on  half the number of stitches, working the first 3 rows  as above and then decreasing at either side of the triangle.   This would make  a nice scarf design with  triangles running up the middle and side triangles each side.
